The Story of Trickfinger

Trickfinger Records is an independent record label and artist development company based out of Austin, TX. After many trips to Austin over the years the label’s founder, Music Publicist, Storme Levi, realized that Austin musicians lacked the support and resources needed to take their music careers to greater heights. Although the Live Music Capital of the World has some fantastic local studios and organizations in place that provide recording, career guidance and even funding for the city’s local talent, she saw a need for a comprehensive, local record label where musicians could not only record, mix, and master their tracks, but also work with experienced industry professionals on the marketing, media relations and distribution of their music. Trickfinger Records welcomes artists from all genres, particularly those that place their own unique fingerprint on their respective musical styles. The label’s focus is to provide the resources of a major record label while allowing their artists to retain their creative ownership and artistic independence.
